The COVID-19 pandemic has deepened systemic inequities in our community. The R3F will provide, coordinate, and advocate for direct resources and supports to heal our community in the wake of this crisis.

Thanks to our generous community and major donors, we are half way to our initial goal of raising $1 million dollars in Phase 1, which will provide direct one-time $500 disbursements to the most vulnerable populations most directly impacted by COVID-19. The Fund is structured to be responsive to the emerging, changing, and long-term needs of our community, with an immediate focus on providing direct financial disbursement. In the longer term, The Community Care Coalition will continue to inform and steward the implementation of the R3F, with a focus on community-driven needs and longer-term infrastructure support to create healing centered, racially just policies, practices, and investments for long term community transformation. Private foundations and donors wishing to contribute more than $50,000 to support the Richmond COVID-19 Relief Fund or individuals wishing to donate via electronic funds transfers or other means should contact info@edfundwest.org.
